I visited this shop with my husband, and the masseurs—Annie and Maikou—were fantastic. They were very easygoing and welcoming, and the massage was excellent; my whole body felt incredibly relaxed and comfortable. I plan to bring my family here as well; it is highly recommended.
I stopped in for a 30 min foot massage after they gave me a flyer when I walked by earlier that day. I usually get an hour at other Foot Reflexology spas but I wanted to try it out first. Thank god I did! I wish I read the reviews first I could've saved myself $ smh. The guy doing my feet grabbed a timer & his phone & put it on massage bed next to my leg, another guy started rubbing my neck. I told them I want feet only but the guy massaging my neck said its included. After a few min I told him to stop. It was obvious he was untrained, he was massaging the side of my neck/ jugulur & it was hurting me. He walked away & I heard him begging a lady walking by to come in for a chair massage. Lol I was trying to relax, the guy massaging my feet was doing good but it was bright in there & you can hear the shoppers talking loudly & his phone starts vibrating by my leg. He stopped my massage to answer the phone. He spoke for a few min. Continued massage added hot stones, then I hear the timer going off. He pretty much rushed me out. Wth! I go to pay for the foot massage & they charged extra for the neck massage they said was included. Now I am pissed. I paid but he rudely asked for a tip so I tipped $5 & walked out very unhappy. Please do not waste your time or $$!
I booked a chair massage and a foot massage, and it was one of the worst massage experiences I’ve had. The therapist repeatedly insisted on handling my hair instead of letting me tie it up myself. He also kept pulling and cracking my fingers and toes every few minutes, even after I told him it hurt. Throughout the massage, he spent too much time rubbing the same spots, and the technique felt inexperienced. They also pushed and manipulated my back as if giving me a chiropractic adjustment without warning. I have a herniated disc and specifically chose a massage because I’m not a candidate for spinal adjustments. If I wanted chiropractic treatment, I would have gone to a licensed chiropractor. I also don’t appreciate how they seem to extend the session beyond the time requested. You ask for a 30-minute massage, but they keep saying, “Just 10 more minutes,” which increases the final charge.
Staff is rude and unprofessional. Not only were they rude to me, but they made inappropriate comments about another client's body type during my visit. I did not receive the full amount of time that I paid for and my masseuse was on and off his phone throughout my entire massage. Do not go here.
Chi Spa in Wellington Mall is an absolute disgrace. This place is filthy, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable to be operating in a public mall. Nothing about it feels clean, safe, or legitimate. The moment you walk in, you can tell standards do not exist here. The staff is rude, careless, and clearly untrained. There is zero customer service, zero respect, and zero effort put into maintaining a proper business. Instead of relaxation, you leave feeling uncomfortable and grossed out. Honestly, this location should be reported to the city and health department immediately. Wellington Mall allowing a business like this to stay open is embarrassing. Either shut it down or force a full inspection—because this is not okay. Save your money, save your time, and DO NOT GO HERE. Worst spa experience I’ve ever had.
